Jannick B. Pedersen

Jannick B. Pedersen is co-founder and Managing Director of the consultancy firm FranklinCovey Nordic Approach. Since 2002, the company has helped a wide range of customers in the areas of development and human resources. The company holds the rights to successful global concepts in the Nordic countries, including Seven Good Habits.

In 1984 Jannick started the consultancy DanEduc A/S, which had 45 employees when it was sold to the Carl Bro Gruppen in 1993. Jannick then worked with the Carl Bro Gruppen for ten years, seven of which he served as Group Managing Director with responsibilities for strategy and HR.

Jannick has worked as a consultant in more than 20 countries and with private companies, public authorities and international organisations such as the World Bank. Jannick was the first Chairman of the Danish Management Council and the Danish Business Research Academy.

Jannick holds an MA in political science from Copenhagen University.

He is married and has two teenage sons. Jannick enjoys mountain trekking, running, yoga and music – everything from Ravel at Radiohuset to Rammstein at the Roskilde Festival.

At Rainmaking Jannick uses his strategic insight and knowledge of how to start up a business from scratch, as well as his considerable experience in development and human resources. Among other initiatives, he recently held a two-day workshop on execution for all the employees of Rainmaking companies.

Steen Parsholt

After a 30-year career in the financial sector in Denmark, the US, England, Holland and Italy, Steen Parsholt has in recent years dedicated himself to an active career as a professional board member for a number of companies both in Denmark and abroad.

After earning degrees in the US and from Copenhagen Business School, Steen began his career at Den Danske Bank, which took him from Copenhagen to London and eventually New York from 1977-1986. In 1986 Steen returned to Denmark to head the American company Citibank in Denmark, after which he was sent abroad to work for Citibank in Milan and New York.

From 1996-2002, Steen served as Director for EKR Eksportkredit. When this company was privatized and sold, Steen continued as Director and later Group Managing Director for the Dutch company NCM (now Atradius) in Amsterdam. After returning to Denmark, Steen served as Nordic Director and Chairman of the board for the Nordic companies in the Aon Concern from 2003-2005.

During the last three years he has built up a portfolio of board member postings and special consultant assignments, including that of interim managing director for ISS A/S and ISS Holding in 2006, following the capital fund's acquisition by the ISS Concern.

Steen Parsholt is married with three grown-up children.

At Rainmaking Steen actively raises capital for new and existing projects, and he provides sparring in relation to exit processes. He also contributes regular leadership and career coaching for up-coming talents, managers and partners at Rainmaking.

Jesper Jarlbæk

Since the beginning of 2006, Jesper Jarlbæk has established himself as a board member and investor in a number of growth companies in Denmark and abroad, as a professional board member for two listed companies, and as an advisor for one of Scandinavia’s largest private equity funds.

Jesper previously served as Executive Director for Deloitte (2002-2005) with responsibility for all consultancy areas. Prior to this, he worked at Arthur Andersen, where he was appointed Managing Partner in 1999. Jesper has a great deal of experience in business consulting for the service, commercial and transport sectors, as well as extensive knowledge in international management and cultural relations, which stems in part from dealings with international customers and membership in European management agencies. Jesper is a state authorised accountant (1981) and holds degrees in executive management from INSEAD and AEP.

Jesper is married and has three grown children. He enjoys sailing, collecting vintage cars and travelling.

Jesper brings to Rainmaking his strategic consultancy skills and considerable knowledge of leadership, business development and company structures.

Tage Benjaminsen

Tage Benjaminsen is a professional board member and investor.

Tage is Chairman of the board for Kristensen Properties as well as for a number of subsidiary companies. He is also a board member of the new capital funds at LD Equity. Tage previously served on the board of directors for a number of subsidiaries in the Magasin concern and Illums Bolighus.

Tage was also CFO at Illums Bolighus from 2005-2006, and prior to that he served as group managing director for Th. Wessel & Vett, Magasin du Nord from 2002-2004. He was director of gatetrade.net from 2000-2002.

Tage has a background in banking and holds a diploma in business administration in finance and monetary economics from the Aarhus School of Business. Upon completing his studies he began a long career at Danske Bank (previously Provinsbanken), where he managed the bank’s New York branch, served as Deputy Manager for foreign credit offices as well as being a Stock Analysis Manager. From 1993-1994 Tage was the Managing Director for Foroya Banki of the Faeroe Islands.

He is an examiner at Copenhagen Business School and Deputy Chairman on the board of directors for the International Financial Managers Association (IFMA).

At Rainmaking, Tage contributes strategic consultancy and his knowledge of capital structures and financing.

Frederik Heegaard

After earning a degree social studies and history from Copenhagen University in 1968, Frederik Heegaard founded the summer home rental organization NOVASOL. By 2001 the company had grown to become the largest of its kind in Europe, with 17,000 summer homes rented out by around 1,100 employees through the main office in Denmark and 17 subsidiary companies throughout Europe. 75% of the company was sold to Polaris Private Equity in 2001, and in 2002 it was sold in its entirety to the Cendant Corporation, USA.

Prior to the sale of NOVASOL Frederik was involved with several organizations, serving as Chairman of the Association of Danish Holiday House Letters, Deputy Chairman of the Danish Tourist Board and Chairman of the Federation of Danish Tourist Associations.

Following the sale of NOVASOL Frederik has participated in establishing a number of new companies, including Nørrebro Bryghus (where he is majority shareholder and Chairman of the board), the airline Jet Time (Co-owner and Chairman of the board), the investment firms SR Private Brands and Capital+ (where he is Co-owner and Chairman of the board for both), NetDoktor (one of two primary shareholders), and others.

Frederik is married with three grown sons and spends a good amount of his free time travelling the world, but now only as a tourist. When the weather is bad in Denmark, Frederik heads to his home in the south of France where he is able to stay involved and work with his many companies.

Frederik brings to Rainmaking his strategic sparring and considerable experience in starting companies from scratch to create growth and profitability.

Claus Maron

These days Claus Maron works independently with board membership posts, active investing and consulting jobs. Previously he served as General Manager for Right Management in Scandinavia. Prior to that Claus was a Partner and six-year Managing Director for Kjær & Kjerulf, later named Right Kjær & Kjerulf. He has more than 20 years’ of international consulting experience in strategy organisation and management since beginning his career at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) in 1987.

Claus holds a degree in civil engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, where he specialised in statistics and operations analysis. He has also studied business administration and participated in various executive training programs at IMD and the Kellogg School of Management. He is a member of VL7 and a Senior Advisor for CBN Katalyze.

Claus brings to Rainmaking his knowledge of internationalisation, strategic management and organisational development.

Ebbe Bouman

Ebbe has founded several companies throughout his career, including Cultivator in Denmark, Norway and Sweden as well as More Intenz in the same countries. He is also a co-founder of Zenaria, which recently merged with the Edvantage Group (e-learning).

Ebbe also holds several board membership posts, including three chairmanships. Ebbe is also a member of Aalborg University's Advisory Board.

Ebbe and his wife Lise have three adult children. In his free time Ebbe enjoys going to concerts and playing sports.

Ebbe brings to Rainmaking his personal coaching skills, strategic consultancy and in-depth knowledge of competence development and company start-up.

Erik G. Hansen

Erik G. Hansen is founder and Director of Tresor Asset Advisers, a consultancy that advises family offices and other companies on investment strategy, asset allocation and selecting and monitoring portfolio managers.

Today he holds a number of board membership posts. He is Chairman of Polaris Management A/S and DTU Innovation A/S, as well as board member for PFA Pension and Bagger-Sørensen & Co. A/S.

He previously served as CFO for the A.P. Møller concern and was co-founder and Director of brokerage Bjørnskov & Co. and Dansk Portefølje A/S, as well as a partner of EQT Partners.

Erik holds a master's in finance and accounting the Aarhus School of Business.

Erik brings to Rainmaking his abilities as a consultancy partner with respect to capital structures, financing and strategy.
